ONR participates and sponsors science fairs, college internships, graduate fellowships and curricular enrichment programs. Outreach initiatives encourage, promote and coordinate naval science and technology both domestically and abroad.
Diversity Initiatives
The Department of the Navy's Historically Black Colleges and Universities/Minority Institution (HBCU/MI) program is designed to increase the participation of under-represented institutions in navally relevant research, development, test and evaluation programs and activities.
