The Naval High School Science Awards Program (NSAP) encourages students to develop and retain an interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
The annual National Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) is held jointly by the US Army, Navy and Air Force. JSHS encourages the analytical and creative development of our nation’s youths in STEM disciplines.
More than 240 talented and motivated high school students present their research and compete for thousands of dollars in scholarship money and prizes. The London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF) is a two-week long exchange program bringing together students from around the world to London, England to share their enthusiasm for science. Their experience involves lectures, seminars, lab visits, presentations, and field trips. Each year, a team of prize-winning, American high school science fair winners are invited to present their research and compete with 300 other students from across the globe. The Intel International Science & Engineering Fair is the world’s biggest pre-college science fair. More than 500 science, math and engineering affiliated fairs produce 1500 high school students from 50 countries to compete in 17 categories. Students display their research projects and vie for hundreds of special awards and scholarships.
