ONR Global Locations

The Office of Naval Research Global Command, or ONR Global,  engages the international science and technology community, including academia, defense and commercial industries and government agencies in a range of technical areas of naval interest. In order to maintain this worldwide presence, ONR Global functions through several international offices (see a map). 

The first international office was erected in 1946 in London, followed by ONR Tokyo in 1997, ONR Singapore in 2000, ONR Santiago in 2002, and ONR Prague in 2010. The commanding officer is based out of Singapore while the executive officer and technical director sit in London.
