Code 35 Innovative Naval Prototype (INP)

The Naval Air Warfare and Weapons Department’s (Code 35) Innovative Naval Prototype (INP) programs are part of the overall Office of Naval Research INP portfolio, which comprises potentially game-changing or disruptive technologies intended to significantly alter the way our naval forces fight. INPs are developed around anticipated naval needs rather than in response to established requirements. It is the ultimate goal of an INP to deploy to the fleet/force.
