ADVISORY: Office of Naval Research Lecture Series to Feature Navy Scientists

ARLINGTON, Va. — The Office of Naval Research (ONR) will host a lecture series featuring Navy researchers and scientists who hold scientific or professional positions (STs). These high-level subject-matter experts will share their research and development initiatives in the physical, biological, medical and engineering sciences or closely related fields. The lecture series kicks off March 7 and continues through November.

These scientific or professional positions, which are above the GS-15 level, exist throughout the federal government and involve performing high-level research and development. They are recognized as lead scientists in their respective fields.

WHAT:
ONR STs will discuss their research and development efforts in their respective areas of expertise in one-hour, afternoon sessions that begin in March and continue through November.

WHERE:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
ONR is located in a secure government building. All visitors must present a valid photo I.D. to security for entry. Visitors who do not possess a valid building permit should allow 15 minutes to complete ONR’s security protocol and should have an on-site ONR contact available for escort in the building. On-site building parking is available to visitors with a valid Department of Defense building permit; general parking is available nearby.
