Since its inception in 1956, the Symposium of Naval Hydrodynamics has served as a critical global forum for sharing cutting-edge research, scientific advancements, and technological breakthroughs in fluid mechanics as they relate to naval hydrodynamics.

The Symposium on Naval Hydrodynamics (SNH) is a prestigious, biennial international forum co-sponsored by the Office of Naval Research to promote the technical exchange of naval hydrodynamics research and developments of common interest among the global community. The forum encourages the discussion of presented papers and provides an opportunity for direct communication among international peers.
